wallowtail School is currently accepting applications for new students entering preschool through eighth grade. If you are interested in enrolling your child at Swallowtail School, we encourage you to contact us at your earliest opportunity. Our administrative team is always happy to arrange a campus tour, answer your questions, and share with you why Swallowtail is such a unique place for children to learn.

Annual Tuition
  • Pre-Kindergarten
    • Three Days 8:45 AM - 12:45 PM
    • Tuition: $5,900
    • Material Fees: $125
  • Mixed-Age Kindergarten
    • Tuesday through Friday 8:45 am - 12:45 PM
    • Tuition: $7,150
    • Material Fees: $225
  • Grades 1st - 8th
    • Tuesday through Friday 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Tution: $8,500
    • Material Fees: $275
  • Second child receives a 10% discount, third child (or more) receives a 50% discount.
  • Before and Aftercare Available for $6/hour.

Enrollment Procedures for New Students

Step 1: Interested families may arrange a school tour by contacting administration.

Step 2: The application process starts when a completed Application For Enrollment and a $35 non-refundable application fee are submitted. Families with children in Grades 1-8 are asked to complete a Grades Enrolment Questionnaire and Kindergarten and Pre-K families should complete an Early Childhood Enrolment Questionnaire.

Step 3: Admissions interview(s) held between prospective family and Swallowtail teacher(s).

Step 4: Applicants notified if they are accepted, declined, or placed on a wait list.

Step 5: Accepted families work with administration to complete enrollment contracts.

Accessible To All Tuition Adjustment Program

Swallowtail School is committed to offering Waldorf education that is accessible to all students who have been accepted for admission. Families may apply for an Accessible To All (ATA) tuition adjustment by completing an online application through FACTS. Once the online application is complete a meeting between the family and the school's ATA conversationalists will be scheduled. This meeting provides an opportunity to discuss the school's needs and the family's ability to contribute tuition towards these needs. For more information please contact our administration team.
