Inclement Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, Swallowtail School will follow the lead of the Hillsboro School District. If a Snow Day is declared for Hillsboro School District, Swallowtail School will also have a Snow Day. We follow this district with 2 hour delays, as well. If the school has a 2 hour delay, we will not have any Early Childhood Classes. We will however offer our Resting Stars program. Students in either Pre-School or Kindergarten can attend. This begins at 1:30pm. Please call the school to let them know if your child will be attending (Your child needs to have had lunch before coming). With a 2 hour delay the Grads (1-8) will begin at 10:45am. The school voice mail will be changed by 7am to verify as needed.
